Soccer and Giant Balloons

Saturday I got to spend the day with my two favorite little people, Caden and Corbin. We went to Caden's soccer game in the morning. He is doing really well this year. I think he has a better idea of what to do than last year.

After lunch we all fell asleep for a while and then we went to the Plano Balloon festival. The boys really enjoyed seeing the balloons taking off and then watching others being inflated. There were a lot of things to see and do. It was almost like a mini fair. It was very very crowded and long lines to go on the kiddie rides.

We waited in one line for a bounce house slide which took about two seconds to go up and back down. When it got dark they lit up the balloons for the balloon glow. That was very cool. After that they had fireworks. I locked my keys in my truck while we were waiting for the fireworks to start. Phillp had to come out and unlock the doors for me. We were close to the road so he just had to click the remote as he drove by and voila they doors were unlocked. The kids thought that was neat. We cheered. I thought they would be so tired they would fall asleep before we got out of the driveway but they were wired and chatty all the way home.
